Definitely get the breakfast buffet here! They have everything from an omelette station to congee to salad to pancakes to pastries to grilled mackerel and salmon. I highly recommend the make your own congee as a starter followed by the grilled fish and steamed pork buns. The omelette station is another good option for a more Western breakfast. Add a side of stir fried bacon and cabbage and lotus roots, bamboo shoots, and chicken for a savory side. Finish up with a helping of fresh fruit and maybe a mini croissant and you will be full for hours. It’s about 1850 yen which isn’t bad. They are open at 6:30 am which is convenient for those traveling during the day.

Perfectly good option for dinner if you’re staying at the Westin in Kyoto. Everything here is expensive -$ 25 for a burger– but you pay for the convenience since there’s not a lot else really close by. I had the spaghetti carbonara and it was good.
