I agree with Maris comment below. The food was excellent, interesting and good value and the décor was great as well(spacious, renovated machiya with trendy furniture). Additionally to Maris list I can only remember a tasty soup on the set menue.

Have you tried Okinawan food before? If not, I strongly recommend that you to try out ‘Asian Chample Foods Goya’ Okinawa? Where is it? Okinawa is the southern islands which is very close to Taiwan. Okinawa has very unique positions of geographically and culturally. Goya is an Okinawan restaurant with southeast asian influence. They offer ‘Enkai(party) plan’ for 4000 yen. The 8 or 9 course with Nomihodai(you can drink as much as you want) is a very great deal. Be honest, it is very difficult to find a better deal anywhere else but Goya, I believe. You can try cocktails, awamori, tea and Nama biru(draft beer) with a Nomihodai plan. We had Salad, stir fried Konbu, Mimiga(sliced pork ear), Tempura of Okinawan fish(I forgot the name of the red fish) and Mozuku(seaweed), Marinated small fish, Taco rice, and Okinawan crêpe with banana and coconuts ice cream. Probably we had more dishes but I don’t remember details because I had so much fun with friends at there. My dear friends, do you remember what we had last night? Please update information.:D They reserve 2nd floor if you are more than 13 people. And they will ask you to order the course and Nomihodai(4000yen) we had if you want to use an upper space privately. Here is a great option for trying your first Okinawan food in Hyakumanben area!

As the name of the restaurant is «Asian Chample food Goya», the food here are mixture of Okinawa-food, Tai-food and other asian foods(I’m not sure where the foods are so can’t name it, sorry). Lunch here are nice, and I always recomend my friend to have the plat set as you could try several Okinawa-food in one plate in a resonable price. I often go to this restaurant with my collegues or friends. During summer time the window will be opened like a terrace. In the first floor there are small tables but in the second floor there are bigger tables for group.(Also the first floor will be smoking area and the second floor will be non-smoking).The atmospher of the restaurant is like being in a bangalo of other asian resort. Also going here for night time is nice. I love Okinawa-food so I often order Mozuku-Tempura or other small dishes for the drinks. It’s quite nice.
