Why I wanted to come here… I didn’t remember the reason. Probably the picture of this beautiful scenery picked up in some magazine was attractive to my feeling. I got off Misasagi station of subway line and strolled on the promenade along the stream with my husband. It is sparse contrary to crowded Keage area around Higashiyama Sanjyo, and a nice hidden place. The promenade was covered with cherry blossom trees, but it was late spring when we visited here. Greenery was dazzling to our eyes and refreshing! We took a walk on the path covered with foliages. I felt as if I were walking on a soft carpet. Sometimes we felt breezing between leaves of the trees and very comfortable! We crossed a bridge which was branched to another path and reached a temple(I forgot its name) where we worshipped for safety of family. There was no one except us. I am sorry to say that it was deserted and shabby wooden temple, but tasteful in atmosphere. A nice idea of a story hit on me. I wrote a small novel on the stage of this place. A female university student of main character came here with her male classmate. She had one-sided love against him. She didn’t understand his feeling or whom he loved. The distance between two seemed to be close… However he suffered from a serious cerebral disease and gradually lost his memories… The following and ending is a secret! I hope you will be interested in my short story. The season of autumn leaves viewing or late autumn when almost all the leaves have fallen is also recommended. I would like to introduce you here, wishing for an oasis not only for local inhabitants but also for visitors.
