Mitaka City Arts Center

The hub of both traditional and international culture events, hosted by Mitaka city and related NGOs.
A wide variety of musical events are featured throughout the year, with emphasis on classical artists and groups from Europe. However, the venue is multipurpose and also hosts recitals and plays of local groups ranging from elementary through high school students.
There’s also a quality fusion vegetarian focused restaurant on the lower floor — a good place for a quick meal or post-​event refreshment. (Called Comrade)
Overall, a modern, well-​balanced facility where quality cultural performances can be enjoyed in an intimate atmosphere and often at half the cost or less than that of major venues in central Tokyo.
