Indian restaurant owned and run by a Nepalese family. The place has 6 tables on the first floor, and a larger area on the second floor for groups or parties. During the week, you can get lunch which consists of curry, choice of nan or rice and a drink for anywhere between ¥700-¥1,400, depending on which options you choose. The curry tastes delicious: there is a wide variety to choose from, from spinach to egg masala to mutton. The nan is freshly made to order and comes in a variety of tastes, from plain to cheese to garlic. The side dishes are also a hit, with the chicken tikka and the samosa particularly tasty! The lassi is simply exquisite and is by far the best drink option on the menu. Made in house, it is thick and has a strong, pleasant yogurt taste. The crown jewel, however, is the butter chicken curry. It is mild and has a rich, smooth buttery taste to it and comes with chicken pieces inside. I always have to restrain myself not to lick the bowl clean. The desserts are ho-hum, which prevents me from giving this restaurant a full 5 star rating. That being said, it’s definitely worth going to if you’re in the neighbourhood!
