It stands on Tsutenkaku main street mall. A green cotton curtain and a wooden sign, both with café’s name had old tasteful atmosphere. This is a Japanese café. I like Japanese sweets better than Western sweets. I was not hungry because I had a cake and mix juice in another café. I was attracted by the reasonable price and decided to buy some sweets. Ohagi or sakuramochi is only 90 yen. Unbelievable! They are cheaper than the ones in my city. Inside the café I felt nostalgic atmosphere. Itokiri Dango is famous in this sweet shop. It is rare. I first knew it. I asked the owner what it was. It is a sweet consisting smooth strained sweet red bean paste is topped over a sticky rice cake. I became interested in it, but bought sakuramochi and ohagi. They are a little smaller than others but tasted very good! If I live nearby, I will buy them every day. If you get tired of walking around Shinsekai area, please take a rest here to have nice Japanese sweets.
