A Weekend in Osaka would not have been completed wihout giving Kushikatsu 串カツ a try.
I have limited experience with Kushikatsu before my visit to 串カツだるま I never ever ate Kushikatsu till my visit here.
This restaurant is super tourist friendly as there are menus in Korean, English and Chinese. They even have instruction of how to enjoy your little deep fried skewers.
We shared a combination 1400 Yen with some seasonal skewers as side order including my favourite Rice Cake.
The beef stew starter was really tasty and might be the best part of the meal. As for the kushikatsu, I think they were perfect beer drinking snack food. Though lightly battered, most of them tasted really similar after dipping into the Worcestershire like dipping sauce.
Just drink Beer and Enjoy. Everything tastes better when deep fried and washes down with beer
You won’t miss this place as you will see the mascot of this restaurant right in front: that mean looking Japanese old man!
