Tennoji Park

The Tennoji Park Iluminage «Wa» was absolutely beautiful. This year’s display is inspired by the Sengoku period of sparkling lights. There is a display of Sanada Yukimura, a Japanese samurai warrior, known as a leading general on the defending side of the Siege of Osaka. The crisp night air and beautiful sparkling lights make this display a can’t miss this season！

One of the best park in southern Osaka after renovation
Tennouji park wasn’t free to enter before innovation. The reason was to keep homeless people away from the park. Next to the park, there’s zoo so maybe ward office wanted to keep this area safe and clean?
But ever since city started renovation around the area, situation changed. The tallest business building in Japan, Harukas was launched, also this park was renovated and became free to enter, huge shopping mall was launched, the area has just entirely changed.
What I love about this park is that it’s big and grass fired is spreading entire space. So that Kids are running around playing with parents, old people enjoy taking walk, housewives are enjoying coffee at café nearby. It looks like people are waiting for this renovation!
Alongside the park, awesome businesses are popping up. Convenience store, paid playground for kids, gardening goods shop and café inside, Goods shop for dog, pizza place and izakaya, futsal court with famous football manga «Captain Tsubasa».
I tried working at the café and it was awesome, when you stuck, you can just go out and take a walk a bit and start again. I think this park will be one of the favorite in the area.
