If you’re taking a red eye flight and want to take a shower, come early! There was a line of 11 people when we got there more than 2 hrs before our boarding time. Showers are nice. There is a fan and a blow dryer. The sample soaps, shampoo, conditioner, face soap, toothbrush are all good Japanese brands! Food is good. There is a selection of Japanese foods and American foods. There is alcohol including sake.

Great layout for a lounge with plenty of seating and outlets available. Clearly at the Japanese standard(which is well above the American one). The food looked delicious(wasn’t hungry at the time) with a great variety from more common western styles like tuna sandwiches to a good selection of sushi. ANA pulled all the stops putting this lounge together and are an above average airline as it is. It’s good to see their quality extends in to everything they do.

It is an airport lounge at the Japanese standard, which means way better than the American airport lounges. Clean, spacious lounge, excellent food and good drinks.

I am not sure if the rating of any exclusive offer makes sense– as you need either a status or a business class ticket to come in here. So your choice is to use the service or turn your nose up on it and buy your own stuff. Having said that — as a humble frequent economy flyer– I am impressed by the size, design and cleanliness. Moreover I can confirm that the food is really good, also the full bar selection is decent. The way of pouring a beer is funny and cool, see my video. Many United clubs cannot hold the candle to this lounge, Lufthansa is a mixed bag(at least Frankfurt caught up). Cons: the work area ahold be separated out from the relaxing area to avoid interference, also dampen the sound better from phone talkers and high heels on the marble floor. As for the presence of minors: create a family room and a separated play area, screaming kids is not really what I expect in a business area. Hence I hand out 4 stars, not 5. The service staff is really attentive and very accommodating, big credit!

Airline Lounge at Haneda’s International Terminal. You get free access to ANA’s lounge with United GOLD status. Here is the take: If you are a non-Japanese who normally flies only United, you will be amazed by this place. Food here sure blows United away. I was once in a United Lounge in Narita and asked the worker there«do you purposely serve terrible food? No, no, this is a serious question. Finding food this bad is really hard.» If you are a Japanese national who often flies with ANA or JAL, you would find this lounge to be an average lounge. JAL’s Narita lounge is even more impressive. KEYTIP: You CANNOT overlook the Udon serving station. If you don’t know about this, you might miss it, so be careful. You order udon or soba, they give you a number, wait 3 minutes, and noodles are served to you on a plate. ALCOHOL: I saw a guy filling his glass to the top with their red wine. Has he tasted it before? It takes some guts to fill your glass to the top with airline lounge’s Spanish red wine. Beer on draft is Asahi Super Dry, which is sort of like Budweiser of Japan. While wine and beer is mediocre, their Japanese sake is not too bad. I would stick to sake here. Question to myself: Why am I eating all kind of food here when it is past midnight to board 1AM flight? I had a full dinner at home before heading to the airport.

Hands down the Best executive lounge on the planet. $ 50 to use. Beautiful private shower rooms, great buffet, hot noodle bar, wine, beer and spirits all included in the entry fee. Smoking room for you smokers and it’s about the size of a football field.

* Four star lounge with bitter aftertaste * ANA you are making me bitter. I LOVE that you offer non-stop service from Vancouver to Haneda so we can avoid the long trip in from Narita, and deal with a much less crowded airport at Haneda in general making the airport and ground connection wonderful. I LIKE that you have a good international class lounge in Haneda with lots of space, and a decent selection of food items. Your squid ink yakisoba was surprisingly flavourful, the karaage were surprisingly crisp on the outside and moist on the inside even though they were sitting in a warming tray, the onigiri was freshly made and comforting, and the little window offering up noodle soups is a nice touch. I am BITTER that after all of that you slam the Vancouver route with one of your oldest domestic quality planes with awful seating and onboard entertainment options. Your international service to other North American cities offers lay-flat business class, and a true international level product. But for Vancouver you stick on an old ratty 767 with business class seats that only recline a bit and don’t get flat for sleeping. The onboard entertainment is also incredibly outdated. The movies are hard to hear and see on the little tiny screen, and the games have copyright dates from over 10 years ago just to give you the truly«classic» feel. Oy… But alas, this review is of your lounge, not the crappy plane you stick us on after visiting the lounge. It is a sad thing when the lounge is the highlight of the trip, no? It was tasty, and how a lounge should be, but has a bitter aftertaste with the flight that feels like an afterthought. Photos:

Definitely one of the better international lounges I have been to. This HND Haneda Airport lounge has it’s own noodle bar, draft Asahi beer that tilts to reduce head(amazing technology), sushi(nothing special), beef stew noodle, and ramen. They provide a lot of liquor also, but more mid-tier brand like Jack Daniel’s and Smirnoff. Overall, it’s a huge lounge with a ton of Star Alliance visitors. Note that the lounge is only open certain hours of the day. The one by gate 109 is open until 1AM while the other one is only open until 3. The staff are super friendly as well. The only area of major improvement is to crank up the A/C. It is definitely at least 75 degrees in the lounge right now. Everybody is sweating.

Difficult to adequately describe how wonderful this place is: open till 1am, free flowing tasty refreshments in all varieties, shower facilities, tons of room, peaceful, well staffed with cheery and attentive servers, apparently a smoking section somewhere if you’re into that, I could go on and on. Makes all other airport lounges I’ve ever visited seem like gas station restrooms in comparison. Oh yeah — it’s also the first lounge I’ve been to that makes announcements when flights are boarding, which is very helpful.

ANA lounge, oh sweet giver of life, my refuge from the cold, hard world! in my over 50+ visits to Tokyo, i’ve flown into Narita every time. I finally got a chance to try Haneda last week, taking the new SFO to HND route that just went into service this year. man, that route is awesome! it gets into Tokyo quite a bit later than the NRT flights, and quite a bit later than I would like. but the convenience of being a short subway hop away from my favorite spots in Tokyo is fantastic! but i digress. the ANA lounge is pretty much exactly what you expect from ANA lounges and very comparable to the ANA lounges at NRT, which is not a bad thing. I take comfort in knowing that a warm bowl of udon or curry rice awaits me when I need it. I recently had an extended layover at HND, whereby I hopped onto the subway to Roppongi, drank for 6 hours, and then hopped on the first train back to the airport. somehow, it seemed like a good idea at the time. luckily for me for the ANA lounge, as I was starving, tired, and hungover, with death’s shadow looming over me. i ate a bowl of curry rice. i ate a bowl of udon. i had 2 bowls of soup. i had a plateful of their noodles. i ate 6 chicken nuggets. 1 cup of green tea. 2 cups of grapefruit juice. 1 cup of ginger ale. it was gluttonous. it was glorious. and i even got a chance to brush my teeth and take a 20 min nap before my flight.
