The atmosphere is fantastic for studying. Quiet, nice relaxing jazz music, plenty of seats on 2 floors and quite a few outlets for us with pre-historic laptops that need to stay plugged in. However, when it came to the DOUGH of the doughnut, it was terribly dry and unenjoyable. I came around 3:30PM(which may be late for a donut shop???). I bought the coffee flavored cake donut and I was incredibly dissapointed with it(especially since this is a branch off of Mister Donut, a donut shop I’ve enjoyed for years and years-pretty much my whole life). Perhaps their yeast donut is softer, but I’m worried about risking it since I already prefer cake donuts over the yeast kind to begin with. Some other tips/info on the shop: –It is right behind the Seijo Gakuen Mae station. Walk out the exit towards the grocery store, make a right, pass the starbucks, and then another right to walk along the road parallel to the train tracks, and the café is one block down. –Cake Donuts are 200 yen(3 flavors: coffee, rum raisin, and cranberry), Yeast Donuts are 250 yen(almond caramel, coffee, cranberry and chocolate). –There are also savory pastries including some brioche toasts with a variety of toppings(some I noticed were tuna-mayo, egg, cheese), a personal sized spinach-bacon quiche, a personal sized shrimp tartine, a dough wrapped hot dog, and a few more. These were all about 280 yen. –From 8 – 11, there is a breakfast set of brioche toast+yogurt+drink for a little less than 500 yen. –From 11 – 2, there is a lunch set of either pasta+salad or pasta+salad+drink ranging from around 700 – 900 yen(including tax). –3 Pastas and 2 soups are also available. –Coffee, tea, and a variety of «mason jar» drinks are available(the later being soda or juice blends-all of which are 350 yen) –There is a refill deal on Small sized coffees too. –Wifi is only available for smart phones, not computers. So come for the atmosphere and drinks! But be wary of their dry cake donuts.
