Waited two whole months for a reservation and expected this place to be kind of pricey. But it was surprisingly reasonable and it was totally worth the wait!!! Found this place online and it is supposed to be the artist Takuya Kimura’s favorite restaurant. Ordered mentaiko egg roll(because we saw one at every table), deep fried tuna(because the photo looked awesome), and Miso Motsunabe(because that was what we came for). Did not ask for an English menu so not sure if they have one. Used our limited Japanese and Kanji knowledge to order everything. The egg roll was so good! Very moist and not too sweet. Deep fried tuna we could have done without. And the Motsunabe was AMAZING!!! The soup was super flavorful and well balanced. If it was not so oily from all the organs we would have drink the whole pot. Added noodles at the end but we should have added rice and it would definitely be a porridge from heaven!
