Because of where I grew up I have a greater affinity for cake doughnuts than this style, and rarely had Krispy Kreme. It was the brand you sold for school fundraisers, not the first thing that came to mind if you mentioned the word doughnut. This location is pretty much identical to what you would find in the US, just cleaner and with much cuter doughnut designs. There’s plenty of seating though it can get pretty crowded whenever a movie lets out, since Toho Cinemas is in the same plaza. The Cinnamon Sugar and Chocolate Glazed doughnuts were both good, though the latter was too sweet for my taste. The Hot Chocolate here is excellent, though, so I highly recommend that to accompany your doughnut!

I ate donuts almost every morning in NYC(mostly from street venders). I rarely could buy doughnuts at Krispy Kreme Donuts there but they sell here just as they sell in the U.S., the sweetness, not their prices. The café is better than I expected as a donuts shop, here’s just like other first food restaurants, spatial and relaxable. So which do I choose Mister Donuts or KK? I prefer MD routinely(just as Dunkin’ D, I used to) but will be craving here when I’m tired and miss the U.S.)

The line here seemed longer than the one in Shinjuku, but possibly due to it being a hop skip and jump from Shibuya crossing. The sit down area isn’t big, but most people take their donuts home or just eat one really fast outside the business. So delicious and warm, and while in line, this particular store has a clear window where you can see the machine actually making the donuts.

Thinking of what to bring for a kids’ party? You must give Krispy Kreme doughnuts a try! You’ll see the kids wow and crave these super sweet and colorful cute doughnuts so happily! It’s a bit too sweet for me, but sweetness never bothers the kids. My favorite is the original glazed, plain but the best. They used to have long lines waiting in store years ago when they newly opened in Japan, but now no more lines(also no more free fresh hot original glazed passed while waiting). And check out their limited edition specials on Valentines day, Halloween, Christmas, etc. And sometimes they sell limited edition microwave snack case — perfect case — since the best way to taste Krispy Kreme as fresh is to pop it in microwave oven 8 secs. With this case, you can microwave your own doughnut, enjoy it hot, everywhere anytime! Don’t miss it.
