PIZZERIASPONTINI has been in business for over 60 years and now has 7 branches in Milan, Italy. This one, started in central Tokyo, Harajuku, is the very first branch they run outside Italy, probably because they think Tokyo has more people who’d be willing to pay decent money for pizza than anywhere else. I’d say that’s true as delivery pizzas in Japan are very likely most expensive in the world(average 2,500 yen or more for a relatively small one). To me the bread felt a bit too thick but I guess some people just like it that way, so it’s probably a matter of preference. And just like it looks, it’s surely stuffy so getting one slice should be enough for lunch. It’s located in Harajuku so you can just stop by for a snack when hanging out in the area.
