Good coffee and a lovely atmosphere and staff. There is enough space to sit and chat or work comfortably. The breakfast set is a good deal – tasty granola and yogurt!

Serious good coffee here. Warm staff, cosy décor. A must in Ebisu! A short walk from the station, worth the effort to find.

This is ranked as one of the top 10 hipster coffee shops in Tokyo. Forget about hipster, it’s just one of the best. It’s a bit of a walk from my office, but I go anyway just for the coffee. My favorite drinks are the Fruity Cold Brew iced coffee and the hot Ebisu Blend pour over. The cold brew is made in a huge contraption that looks like it comes from a chemistry lab. If you like sweeter drinks, give the Pumpkin or Honey latte a try. The shop itself is pretty cool too. They have seating for about 15 people. The tables only seat 2 each. There is a small shelf near the register that sells coffee beans and other knick knacks. If you buy coffee beans, be sure to ask them to grind the beans for you. Don’t forget to get a stamp card! The drinks accumulate faster than you think.

Very small coffee shop, hipster vibe, and good coffee, very good coffee in fact. I ordered pear latte. The coffee just tasted different, it was savory and delicious, not roasty. This was the place where I experienced the best Japanese customer service, the manager/owner literally ran from the back of the shop to say goodbye to us and bowed down from the door until we were already walking 50 meters. I wasn’t expecting that at all. I think this place is good to enjoy a cup of coffee, but staying here for too long wouldn’t be a good courtesy for the other guests. Anyhow, we got our coffee, sat there for 20 minutes and left. A friend got granola with latte thing, it was interesting. Weirdly enough, I got very sleepy after the coffee. It was just me being very tired I guess…

One of the most beautiful things about traveling is when you get lost and you come upon a wonderful discovery like this little gem of a café. Seating is limited. The staff are friendly. Hipsterrific vibes. More importantly, the coffee is flavorful, but delicate. The lattes are smooth. The pumpkin lattes are sweet enough, and not very cinnamony. Get the stamp card because you will likely return for a second cup or more. They have another location around Aoyama/Omotesando. Highly recommend.

We loved our week-long trip to Tokyo, and perhaps it was the presence of coffee in every vending machine insight, but we had a hard time finding quality coffee in Tokyo… until Sarutahiko! Thank you so much to the friendly team of young men who made our stay in Shibuya that much better! We like to see an overabundance of staff(there were 4 in that tiny place), and they all seeming intent on serving and providing quality knowledge and beverages. Their brews packed the punch that had been lacking. They are right by ebisu station(JR yamanote line), and their modern system takes kuredito kaado. Some of them can help you in english(arigato!). Domo Arigato gozaimashita! Minasan!

We stopped off at Sarutahiko Coffee, a super hipster but cool place in Ebisu for a quick cup of coffee to aid with the digestion of our big lunch. Even in the afternoon, the coffee shop was packed with people casually enjoying a mid-afternoon beverage. We both had pour overs from Central America and took in the small shop décor, delicious beans, and some conversation before moving on to Shinjuku. We agreed that the coffee was necessary to push on, so I’m glad that we were able to stop here as one of our last coffee excursions in Tokyo. English is limited here, but there’s an English menu that’s available. If you’re looking for anything beyond what’s on the menu, I recommend having someone who speaks Japanese with you. Everyone was very helpful and friendly though, so it’s definitely possible to enjoy yourself without feeling stressed about your drink!

We were craving for a specialty coffee shop at tokyo and we couldn’t find one until now. This one is very close to the ebisu station west exit, about 7 minutes of walking. It is located at the corner of 2 streets intersection, it’s very easy to find. It is a cute hole in the wall, there are about 4 tables inside and 2 outside. It’s a nice place to relax and have a great cup of coffee. The cashier speaks a little english. They roast their own bean! I had a cup of their bean’s pour over and my wife had a cappuccino of their Ethiopian blend. Both are really good. I highly recommend this place, try local specialty coffee! not generic starbucks…

Wonderful little coffee house with friendly service, great music, in a relaxing atmosphere with excellent espresso. I got the Jedi Espresso specifically, how cool is that?! And it was delicious. They have some baked goods too I’d be very interested in trying on a future visit.
