Dropped 90CAD but the experience was worth it. Don’t know if I would come back anytime soon but coming here at least once will satisfy your sushi craving. Had a little trouble getting another cup of green tea but that’s ok was enjoying the guitar version of tupacs song to notice. Fish is fresh and egg custard was nice.

This place offers ALLYOUCANEATSUSHI! Yeah you read right!!! And best of all, the sushi here is absolutely divine. The sushi just simply melts in your mouth. Quality ingredients and highly skilled chefs are very apparent here. I must add this place is relatively pricey, but I’m sure there’s reasons to it — located top floor of takishimaya dept store, quality seafood, skilled chefs, beautiful décor. Buffet prices depends on who you go with, from memory it’s 8000 yen for a couple and 6000 yen for girls and something slightly higher for guys. The ordering process may be a bit tricky, tricky if you can’t read Japanese. You get an order slip that outlines all the sushi/onigiri and you mark how many your want. You can only order a max of 20 pieces each time(so it fits on the plate). Thankfully wait staff are very accommodating, we had a bloke do the ordering for us the first time, after that I was able to order on the slip myself(knowing basic hiragana certainly helps *proud*) Expect a line during peak dining hours!

Wow wow wow, the best all you can eat sushi ever!!! This sushi restaurant 築地玉寿司(Pronounced«Tsukiji Tamazushi») found on the 13th floor of Takashimaya department store in Shinjuku offers an amazing deal for a pair of people which is a steal for this level of high quality sushi. As you can tell from the name of this restaurant, they use fresh seafood directly from Tsukiji fish market. The all you can eat deal price depends on who you are with. A pair of women pay 7,000 yen(around $ 35/person). A man and a woman pay 8,000 yen(around $ 40/person). Two men pay 9,000 yen(around$ 45/person). If you are more than 2 people, I think you can pay additional ¥3,500 for a woman and ¥4,500 for a man. And unlike other all you can eat restaurants in Japan, there is no typical 90 minutes time limit which is why the wait can be as long as 2 hours easily even on weekdays. So what I suggest is, get there early and register your party in the wait list machine in front of the restaurant and take a ticket and do shopping for 2 hours and then come back when your table is ready. There is a sushi chef who can speak English which is a big plus. Please note that they only offer this all you can eat deal to a limited number of people per day so get there early!!! We got there at 6:50pm and didn’t get seated until 9:10pm. There are plenty of shops around the area so you’ll have no problem finding places to kill time. Everything was so good, my absolute favorite was«aburi salmon»(nigiri sushi with partially grilled salmon)!! It was super succulent!!! I had to re-order a few more aburi salmon because it was off the hook! I would come back even just for this!!!
