Café + Office = Caffice Non-Smoking + Free Wifi + Power outlet + Spacious working environment — — — — — — — – = Winner! Looking for this combination in Shinjuku area is quite difficult. Oh, wait, there is Starbucks, right? Starbucks in Japan has one MAJOR problem. TOOMANYPEOPLE!!! Yes, finding an empty seat at Starbucks in Shinjuku near impossible. On Monday afternoon at 2PM, we had no problem locating empty seats at Caffice. By 4PM, the place was almost full, but not completely full. SERVICE: Unlike Starbucks or Tully’s, this is a sit down café. They seat you at a table and the waitstaff will service you. FOOD: While I came here only for their coffee and cake, they do have lunch selections. PRICE: A bit more expensive than those carryout cafes like Doutor. Coffee is over 500 Yen and it is just regular pre-made coffee. None of those premium pour overs.
