Best pizza I have had in Asia by far. Mini pan sized pizza straight from the small old-fashioned brick(?) oven. Dough made on-site. Local little spot. Does charge a 300¥ dinner fee… But worth it, especiallu for drinks. I wasn’t up for wine this time but would go back to see what they have. Waitress helped me charge my phone. They don’t really speak English here but the vast menu was translated so that did help.

I had a terrible experience trying to eat here. Saw the reviews on Unilocal so my friend and I decided to try it out. When i got there, I had to wait a few minutes for my friend to arrive, so I went in to get a table early. At first I was ignored. Finally when the waiter came, he immediately said«full, full». There was an empty table right in front of me and no one else waiting. I dont think this place does reservations. I thought…“okay maybe I’m being paranoid”. I asked the waiter if there was a waiting list and he hurriedly said no and told me there wouldn’t be a free table for another hour. I figured I’d wait since my friend would be late. While I was waiting, I saw many people coming in and out of the establishment and figured it would be ok to try again. When my friend and I tried to go in, we were ignored again. Then, finally the same waiter saw us and told us «full full». I asked him about the people who he let in and he could only say«sorry, full». I can’t understand why only we couldn’t go inside while other people were seated immediately. I’ll never be spending my money here and I hope others will be warned of this place.

This is one of the ¥500 pizza places around Shinjuku. Everything on the menu is ¥500 and it’s delicious. A variety of pizzas and side dishes to satisfy anyone’s palate! One of my favourite places after a few drinks out ;)

We were just walking around and saw this place that had pizza for 500 yen. So we figured, let’s see how the Japanese does pizza. Place was nice, we sat on the first floor and there were stairs going up, I guess for additional seating. They had an English menu, it was outside also. The waitress was nice and able to speak English. The menu seem to have everything for 500 yen. There’s also a cover after 6pm for 300 yen? That’s ok i guess, perhaps a way to get you to buy more or get more tips, seem to be typical in the area. We wanted to try pizza with an asian twist so we got Fughi pizza which was mushrooms and ham and for the other, chicken teriyaki. Also ordered Sapporo draught. They got it out pretty quick. For the price we were worried that it will be tiny but it ended up a decent size. One is just enough for one person. You know what? Both pizzas were BANGIN’! The crust was thin. I wasn’t sure about chicken teriyaki with cheese and seaweed but it works. Funghi was just as great. Only bad comment i have is that you can smoke inside, but I guess Japan is not caught up with the world’s restaurant nonsmoking ban. The price was cheap overall, under 3000 yen for two people. They said goodbye as we walked out but I guess the waitress didn’t see us leave so she dashed to the door as we walked outside to say sayonara arigato gozaimasu!
