I randomly found this place on my way to work. If they hadn’t had big ¥500 lunch flags outside I wouldn’t have even looked this way. This place is run by one guy(super nice and friendly!) and the food is onion based(hence the name). They have two lunch dishes for ¥500. The Chicken skin rice bowl and chicken curry. I had the chicken skin bowl with extra topping(beef tendon + ¥150). The portion was quite big which is good if you can finish it, but if you’re not a big eater make sure you order less rice. My chicken skin bowl was delicious! You get an egg for topping too which I like. They have a variety of spice and condiments you can add for free if you want to spice it up a bit. I prefer to eat the original before I add extras to it. It was mild and sweet. The meat was really soft and tender and the egg added a delicious creaminess. I do however feel like it was a bit bland, but that’s what the spice and condiments are for I guess. I thought the interior of the shop was really cute. Onions everywhere! And their mascot was fun too. And the toilet! I was so surprised! The place is so small but the toilet was nice and spacious AND it had all these extras like free mouth wash, deodorant and even hand cream! The whole restaurant was really clean. If you stumble upon this place so check it out! Enjoy!
