Takamaru Sengyo- 3

Takamaru sengyo-​ten is a place where you gather your friends to drink and socialize. If you’re looking for a date place or you’re with older/​younger family members, it’s may not the best atmosphere. BUT, THE FOOD IS DEFINITELY 5 STARS.
You walk in, and all the waiters are yelling orders across the restaurant. I was a bit distraught by all this. I mean, you don’t need to yell when I’m right next to you.
But, let’s just talk about their incredibly fresh seafood.
Conch
What the heck. I thought for a second they served escargot here. It looks like a snail, but has a texture of a squid. Be adventurous and try it!
Eel
Oh baby. I love eel, and there’s was awesome.
Shrimp
Probably my favorite dish of the night. Crispy fried LARGE shrimp with that side of tartar sauce. Yum!
Sea Urchin
FRESH uni that’s still in its shell! So delicious, but not much uni in the shell.
Sashimi platter
We were already full, and this GINORMOUS sashimi platter comes out. I was praying as I saw it near me «Please don’t let that be ours», but yes, we did indeed ordered that giant platter. Seriously the freshest sashimi ever!!! And guess what? It was only 30 dollars! In America, it would probably be worth your first born child.
Oh, and I forgot to mention. THEY USE REAL WASABI, not the ones from the bottle.
