A classic «kissaten» (coffee house) in near Shinjuku Station.
Pro:
1. fairly roomy seats for Shinjuku
2. Coffee tasted really good.
3. Not too quiet. Great for biz meeting.
Con:
1. Smokey. 80% of the space is smoking section. Non-smoking area is crowded and tiny.
2. Could be expensive. About 1000 yen for coffee.
Tip: I found their sandwich or beef curry lunch set to be a pretty good deal. For 1300 Yen, it includes a cup of coffee.
Not an ideal place if you are a non-smoker; however, places like Starbucks is always too crowded. Here, you get a table service, so your stay could be really relaxing. Workers here don’t care how long you stay.
No wifi nor power.

Great view of Shinjuku and nearby the big department stores such as Takashimaya. I had their royal milk tea which didn’t disappoint. Service was great!
