Restaurant serving food from the Vietnamese kitchen in a small but cosy setting. Friendly staff that was very helpful and that seem to have some understanding of GF. Ended up having the boiled beef with water spinach which was GF according to the staff and it also work good with the fodmap diet as it contained no garlic. For having very little ingredients I must say this was really delightful! It had a slight citrusy taste, and the tender meat in combination with the crispy water spinach was great. My friend that does not need GF food had the lunch set with spring rolls cooked three different ways and the spicy tai beef noodles, and was quite happy with it. The only thing he commented on was that the ramen was a bit too oily for his liking. Overall a nice place, but nothing made it stick out. So unless I need a safe bet for a GF lunch I probably won’t eat here again on this trip. This is a chain of restaurants so you will be able to find them at more locations around Tokyo.

I tried the lunch set with three kinds of spring rolls and the spicy beef noodles and vietnamese coffee. The spring rolls were all nice but the noodles were a bit oily for my taste and they could have skipped calling them spicy. The drip coffee, with some kind of vanilla(and coconut?) syrup at the bottom was both coffee and dessert, a great way to finish the meal.
