Tokyo Asakusa Dining. The name is really deceptive of what is served at the booth. It’s not a full on sit down restaurant, but a little dessert shop located right after the Kaminarimon. It’s on the left if you’re coming from the Asakusa station. There’s a decent line that forms. There are cute little Japanese servers screaming obscenities at you while you walk by. How could I resist the best pick up line of all time? «Hey you stupid American! Come eat some tapioca and feel culture!» I’m totally kidding by the way. Maybe I’m not. I don’t speak Japanese. Anyway, the Kinako Dango is pretty damn good and cost a mere 400 Yen for 6 sticks. It equates to approximately… do your own math. The dangos are made fresh and in front of your eye. It comes out warm, tears apart easily and topped with a sweet roasted soy flour. The texture of the tapioca is softer than your usual boba but sweeter than receiving a text from your love wishing you a good day. I’ll stop my review here. *drops the mic*
