This is the best ramen restaurant in Tokyo (at least based on the ones I’ve tried)! I got the TSUKEMEN in Miso flavor (only knew because it happen to correspond similar in Chinese (at least that was what I was told) It came in a good portion and the flavor was just Amazing! We came here because the other option for food had a long queue, and we were not in the mood to wait 30+ minutes to eat, but I am glad we did! It is one of those order from the machine and sit down and eat places, which is fine by me! Quick, delicious food, and you could tell these guys are passionate about what they do! LOVE IT!

First meal in Japan. Since the husband and I were on a plane for close to 12 hours without any sleep we needed something fast and quick. Ramen was an easy decision to make and now the much more difficult decision of where to eat it in the ramen capital of the world.
Tonchin was within easy reach with no line and had decent reviews so it was easy choice for me. It is one of those ramen shops that you order from a vending machine. Unfortunately, there is no english translation but there are pictures. So with a hope and prayer and a push of a button I hoped I would get delicious ramen and I did. No clue on what type of ramen I got but it was delicious.
They also have many bottles (four to be exact) of condiments for you to add any additional flavors to your soup broth. They also have a little jar of kimchee for you as well.
Overall it was a good first meal and it was satisfying.

BEST. TSUKEMEN. EVER!
Seriously, we would’ve come back again if we first came here earlier on in our trip. It was a little hidden, not on the main road, but not too hard to find. There was a definite language barrier, which was the case everywhere I went in Japan, but they gave me a container with a different type of sauce and she said (I believe) pour it into the bowl to change the flavor. So, I ate 1/3, then poured the sauce, and it definitely changed the flavor! It was amazing before, but then still amazing and different.
I wish I lived in Japan so I could eat here every day.
