Yoshinoya

We stumbled upon this place on our way to Sunshine City Mall. Since this is a chain in the US, or at least in California, we wanted to compare the difference… Well, there is no comparison! Yoshinoya here in Japan rocks!!! Should I be surprised? Well no! The existence of Unagi and Sukiyaki bowls is enough to make us come back for more… And come back we did! For a city that doesn’t wake up until 10am, this is one of the few places that opens for breakfast. For jet-​lagged travelers who doesn’t mind eating Japanese rice bowls for breakfast, then this spot is for you… The mom and pop duo running the place are vey friendly and understand English well… Of course, the finger-​pointing on the menu also helps.
Going to a Yoshinoya back in the US will now be a disappointment because it won’t compare to the actual thing.
