This is the main street of Chinatown(a.k.a. Chūkagai) in all its gaudy glory. Sure, you have to stroll down it(politely avoiding the chestnut hawkers, possibly eating some other overpriced treat you bought at one of the shops). But – and this is a big but – you must allow time to wander down the side streets, as those are much more charming than the main drag. This street is more picturesque at night and/or when a parade is going on – which is true for all of Chinatown. Enjoy.
