A fantastic tempura restaurant with a long history(though the building itself isn’t especially old). The food is a bit pricey, but reasonable for lunch. If you splurge for one of the nicer dinner courses(which may require ordering a day in advance so they can be sure they have the ingredients – so plan ahead!), prepare to be impressed. This is Japanese food the way it’s meant to be. You can also order à la carte, of course. I didn’t see an English menu or much in the way of pictures(tho’ they do have some). Nevertheless, even if you don’t speak/read Japanese, this place is worth the effort to try to communicate. Non-smoking.
