What can I say about dinner at Radianza? What can’t I say is a better question. We visit Radizanza about once per week, to once every two weeks. The owner/chef Ray-san is beyond accommodating. Without an English menu, he translates the specials to our party, which normally consists of 10 people. As a chef, he has mastered learning what we like and ensuring that the food pleases our taste buds every time, and that it compliments the wine. For a one-man operation, the food is always amazing and so fresh! Even something as simple as the bread is a must here. Other favorites include the caprese salad, grilled chicken, cheese pasta, cheese pizza, stuffed peppers, and more. I could go on and on about how amazing the food is. Make a reservation and go! Trust me, it is a MUST!

Rating des Ortes: 5 Yokosuka, Japan
Radianza is an authentic Italian find hidden in the Honch. You may notice the Italian flag from the second floor as you are wandering near Shioiri. If you’re nervous to walk in because you think you might need a translator, have no fear. They have an English menu. The restaurant seats 12 with three additional seats at the bar. The owner/chef/server has been to Italy and crafted his menu and wine lists from his visits. The food was great and, despite being a one-man team, the service is excellent. One of our dinner guests lived in Italy for three years and she claims the pasta, sauce, and bread were the closest to Italy that she’s had in Yokosuka. I gave it five stars because it deserves such, but as most spots in Japan, it’s too small and I want to keep Radianza to my circle… But it’s not fair to hoard our finds. Enjoy!
