Academics Pre Kindergarden

The owner of Academics originally owned a franchise of a company called CEFA. CEFA is a reputable, amazing and innovative preschool program. Unfortunately, Academics is a subpar imitation. The owner is abrupt and aggressive. She makes massive changes to the program without consultation with parents and responds to parental concerns in a confrontational and counterproductive manner. She charges fees inconsistently despite written policy. Seven months after my daughter began the program, I learned that we were being charged $ 300 more per month than some other parents who started after us. Many staff have left the program due to issues with the owner. This owner would benefit from having some sort of oversight to hold her accountable and to ensure continued quality of the program. Since she dropped the CEFA franchise, she no longer has that oversight. BEWARE! If you’re looking for quality care, look to a CEFA franchise. This company is seriously problematic.
