I would consider myself a bit of a coffee snob, i went here with little expectations but was blown away. I got a Mocha, the flavour was second to none. If you prefer something a little sweeter try the mango chai latte. Great espresso

Nicely tucked away in a small strip mall, this little place served up a nice chai latte with just enough sweetness. I also grabbed a date square that was fresh and no overly loaded with sugar. It’s clean too. My only suggestion is to change up the music — it’s canned piano that is great if you’re slow-motion running in field of flowers, but can get tiring. How about some classic Jazz instead?

Cute hidden away little mom and pop coffee shop. There are cozy little nooks everywhere, and a fireplace in the corner for you, your nose, and your book. The place smelled like java and was abuzz with little meetings going on. Listening in to the chatter, everyone seemed to be talking about something relevant or having lively discussions… I’m not sure why but it started me smiling. Don’t expect a professionally created décor or the faux«homeliness» of Starbucks… if you want/seek this kind of environment, please disregard this review anyway and hopefully fall onto something sharp… Googlemap sent me here for a meeting, but this cute little couple served me the best matcha latte I have had anywhere in Vancouver… seriously. It was creamy, just the right amount of sweet and foamy and done in a very artistic way. I went back for a second! Their food may not be top notch but they make all their salads and sandwiches fresh to order with fresh produce. I had a hot cajun sandwich with a side salad and I walked away quite satisfied.

When my daughter moved to Abbotsford back in 2006, we found this place while looking for an espresso bar in the general vicinity of her apartment. We’ve been happily frequenting it since then, as it has successfully maintained its quality and ambience through at least one change of ownership. In my admittedly limited experience, this is currently one of the two best coffee shops in the greater Abbotsford-Langley area(the other being Sumas Coffee in Abbotsford). As a «certified» coffee geek and espresso nut, I have high personal standards for the places I choose to go to get caffeinated. Such standards must, of course, be adjusted according to circumstances and locale. Thus, I do not expect the level of finely honed espresso skills at a shop here Abbotsford as I do in Toronto, Vancouver, Seattle, or even Halifax(with its four universities and rich arts and culture scene, surely one of the most blessed cities on the continent per capita for high-grade caffeinated beverages). Throughout history, coffee shops have served an important social function beyond the mere service of beverages and incidental food. So my five stars are awarded not simply for the quality of the fare(which while several cuts above the average, does not stand up to the highest, absolute artisanal standards), but in recognition of a successful effort to provide a superior overall experience tailored for the local market. 1) Large, clean, well-lit shop on a quiet side street; high grade, traditional décor, maintained at an above-average level. 2) Not a hipster vibe here. An inviting, serene ambience. An upscale, tasteful décor based on nautical adventure and an «exploring/trading with exotic lands» theme, obviously meant to tie into the provenance of the various coffees and teas sold; baroque and other«classical» background music played at low levels. 3) High quality – but not culinarily outstanding – food, including cookies and pastries, hot breakfast items, and soup, sandwiches, and other hot items for lunch and afternoon. 4) Good coffee, tea, and espresso drinks. 5) Free WiFi. 6) And above all, excellent, friendly service from the husband-wife owners and staff, with ordering at the counter and service at the tables. The spaciousness, relaxed ambience, friendliness, WiFi, and consistently high quality make this place an especially good choice for an intimate business meeting or a session of study/research/writing.

I found this place, while waiting on a person in a meeting… So I entered the coffee shop to have only felt warmth upon going to the counter feeling lost, and not so sure what to have or ever what they had to offer; The owner(not knowing at this time) was caring, helpful in helping me. Both husband & wife wore smiles were warm, friendly all the time; Taking great pride in their little Java shop. With a very good selection of coffee, tea and snacks to nibble on; I couldn’t help but no buy a piece of oatmeal square… Was it delicious! Nestled away a hideaway not to far but far enough from the noise busy traffic 2 blocks up. I thinking in mind: «Man, this would be a swell hideaway… Just cuddle up in one of those soft comfy chairs with a novel in hand… Right there: In front of the fireplace in the corner of the wall, or just have a coffee in the sun, breathing in the fresh air sitting outside.» A Place To Sit And Unwind For Sure! Defiantly will be returning, with a book in one hand and wallet in other. Shsss… Don’t tell anyone… I don’t want to be found No… Wait … TELLTHEWORLD!

I’ve been coming here for years through 3 different owners and I still think it’s the nicest coffee shop in Abbotsford. It’s also the only coffee shop here I know of with a barista that pours latte art. Plus the espresso is the best in Abby and they always have a good selection of drip coffee.(1 free refill BTW) The new owners are very nice and we’ve been surprised with free coffees and desserts on more than one occasion. With the new late hours, I won’t be going anywhere else.
