Paliotti’s Italian Restaurant

Fantastic service and Great prices. We have taken our family here often and have left with a good dinning experience. Recommend!

6 of us were out for dinner at Paliotti’s tonight. Every appy and entrée was superb. My wife has to have gluten free and I always worry that she gets a sub standard meal. No worries here. Here pasta was the best she has ever had at arestaurant and usually she misses out on the garlic bread. Not tonite. Nice touch bringing that out. Service was very good. Wevwill b back. Thx.

We have enjoyed many fine restaurants around the world and Italian fare is our favourite next to TexMex. We have enjoyed Romano’s Macaroni Grill, Olive Garden, and many high-​end restaurants, many names that I can’t recall, in Canada, the US and the UK. Of them all, we all agree that here in the hamlet of Abbotsford, we have a world class italian restaurant named «Paliotti’s». All items on the menu are outstanding as we diligently work our way through the menu. On our latest visit we enjoyed the oven baked lasagna, Pizza, Gnocci and Manicotti… all of which were spectacular! We’ve been back 4 days in a row to get the same and also the pizza which blows away any competition we’ve experienced including Earl’s and Cactus Club. I am 61 and my wife is a spring chicken many years younger so we have a lot of dining experiences under our muffin tops with places like Ruth’s Chris, Taste of Texas, Cin Cin, Gotham and Hy’s. Thus we can confidently give good comparison’s for customer serviceability. The service at Paliotti’s has been consistently excellent from the likes of Tess, Corrina, Mandy, Jen and Jen behind the bar. I have seen other reviews about the service however I cannot fathom these lovely ladies being anything but perfectly «doting» on clientele. Particularly considering that I look like I’ve crawled out from under a rock when I come in wearing loungewear and flip flops — the service I receive is still VIP. We will be going back to Paliotti’s for a very long time because of the quality, flavours combinations, wine list, portion size and VIP treatment.

my siblings and I were looking for a last minute location to celebrate my dad’s 60^th birthday that’ll accommodate toddlers, vegetarians, and someone who’s gluten free because of celiac disease — and lastly, something delicious! haha!
we decided to trek out to Abbotsford to come here, and it was a hit! almost everyone enjoyed their food, some a little too much (my husband ordering 3 dishes lol).
the food was great, the drinks were delicious, and the layout was perfect. we were seated upstairs in the private area for large parties.
the service was okay, our main service was awesome but one of the girls there didn’t know anything about anything to do with the restaurant. when we asked her about a dish she said «oh. I don’t know, I don’t even eat here».
so all in all, delicious food — go for the food!

Best service and staff in my opinion the best restaurant for Italian food in Abbotsford.

Love the food, but their service is the worst! Waited 25 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us — asked who our server was — and watched as two people fought to be stuck with us!
Server guy finally came over and asked how we were doing, told him we felt invisible, and he said he takes ownership over any issues, but never said sorry. He said he’d bring us water right away, but we finally got some from another person 15 minutes later: S.
We had to flag him down to order our dinner and still had to wait almost an hour after that for our food. He kept saying it would be up soon, but nope. Finally, after watching others receive their orders, even though they ordered after us, he came and said they’d dropped our receipt on the floor and that’s why it was taking so long — then he said kidding… really don’t think he was.
When we asked for the bill after staring at each other for 10 minutes after we were done, he asked how everything was. I told him it started out rocky and got a bit better towards the end. He seemed surprised and again said he takes ownership over everything that happens — still no apology!
Think it’s our last visit, not that there’s a lot of great options in Abby, but to pay $ 70 to be ignored is ridiculous!

Great food, great drinks, great service… I had the mushroom ravioli with Asiago sauce & it was delicious. Pasta was cooked perfectly. At $ 78 for two entrees, one appy & 6 drinks I think it was well worth the price. I’ll definitely go back.

The food is very good. The service is the worst in Abbotsford. If you are ordering by phone make sure you give them a reminder phone call before you get there because it won’t be ready. And the owner lady DOES NOT CARE!

A friend told me she dines here regularly. I am sure there’s a good reason to why they are busy on the weekends. We needed a table for four one day and the wait was about 45 minutes. We left and came back a different day to find the baked pastas were too greasy.

This is our 2^nd time giving this place a try. 1^st thing that still sucks is their variety of noodles. 3? R u kidding? No linguine? No spaghetti? No capelinni? No vermicelli? I could go on. .
Next complaint. .What restaurant charges the same price for a non meat pasta as a meat pasta? So if I add chicken to my meatless dish I gotta pay $ 4 more?
Next. .Your out of lasagna and tell us AFTER we order it AFTER we already ordered spaghetti to be told they don’t have spaghetti noodles? !
OK got our food and my sauce is so thick the whole dish goes into my fork when I twirl! !
Oh and I asked how many prawns you get in the dish if I order it as an add on and he said «I believe you get 8» well I got 5!
The bacon was super salty too which didn’t help.
My $ 23 pasta was a waste of money forsure.

Many choices… maybe too many. The food is good if you like pasta but it’s not that ‘fancy’. The portions are large too.

We were passing through Abbotsford and used Unilocal to find this place. We were not expecting much when we walked in. We assumed it was a family restaurant, meaning over sweetened and over cooked food. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was very fresh, with subtle, carefully crafted flavours. It was a bit salty but otherwise excellent.

Favorite place for pasta!
Sometimes the wait can be a little long but it is worth it! I usually get their Four-​Cheese Tortellini and it is to DIE for. Other choices have always been good too!
My one complaint isnt really about the restaurant itself, but a waitress we had during one of our meals there. She had asked if we were visiting for a special occasion, we said yes, its our anniversary. She somehow got in her head that it was a birthday dinner for my boyfriend, and when he went to pay for dinner she made a comment to him that she ”totally thought your girlfriend would have paid, isnt it –your– birthday?” — out of my earshot, I had no idea until he told me as we walked to our car. It might just be me taking it too personally, but even if it WAS his birthday, who the hell are you to comment on who picks up the bill? Nevermind the fact that you clearly werent listening to begin with. Was a little ticked off after that but it wont deter me from going back for their amazing food!

I like this one-​off style restaurant. The food is dependable, and the prices are fair. They give you focaccia bread with your meal, and have better than average pasta. If its busy the service is weak. Chain restaurants are boring, Abbotsford has some nice one offs. Restaurant 62 is best for fine dining, Brodeur’s is simply the best, and Paliottis is best for Italian.

Move over, Olive Garden! Good service, pleasant dining area, excellent food. Try the lasagna! Pricey but worth it! Note: if a wedding is taking place there, opt for another day!

I first tried Palioti’s at a friends birthday party and was so impressed it has been my family’s go to place for nice meals out ever since. Each and every time I have had a steak and each and ever time I thought it was the best steak I had ever had. Definitely get the mushrooms. Oh and the bread with oil and balsamic vinegar that is a free starter — Wow — Zingy and delicious.
Generally the staff has been great. Had one day where the waitress was a little over anxious and was clearing stuff before I was quite finished but that only happened the once.

I was not impressed with this place. We went there based on the Unilocal reviews. We walked in there and stood there for over 5 minutes with no acknowledgement from the staff going back and forth from the door. The bartender who was right infront of us didn’t even look up at us. Finally some one actually spoke to us and said it would be 5 minutes for a seat. Fine… another server went to seat us and right infront of us the one woman grabbed her arm and told her that we were told 5 minutes… did she not realize we could hear her??? After that we walked out. I got a bad vibe from that place the moment we walked in so it was probably a good thing. Unbelievable!

AWESOME!!! I’m glad we found this gem! The atmosphere is great, service was good, and the food was incredible! You would expect this place to be in downtown Vancouver. If you’re craving Italian food, get down to Paliotti’s!
