This store sells baby products, they have a good selections but over priced. I have also noticed recalled I teams on their sales floor.

Our last visit there was a quite Saturday, not much customers in the store, and we were able to find all we need at cheaper price without any assistance from any of the staffs.

I’ve shopped for a convertible car seat(peg), diaper pail(ubbi), some all natural diaper rash creams and a few miscellaneous items for my little one from this store. It’s set up like a big warehouse more than anything and browsing through all the products can be a bit exhausting with a restless baby in tow. It would be helpful to have isle signs(like those in supermarkets) for customers looking to get in, quickly grab something and get out, as most people with babies would like to do. Their prices are comparable to other stores like Baby’s R Us, so whenever I can, I opt to support local business like this one instead of a big box retailer. Their staff can sometimes be a little doe-eyed when you ask for help with products they carry which is not the best thing, especially since most new parents have tons of questions about baby products. They also have an online purchasing option which I have tried to use to purchase an outdoor playpen. They did not have the item in stock so when I called the store to see if they can order it for me, I was told that the person in charge of ordering will call me back with information and I never heard back from them. Not good. Their business hours definitely leave something to be desired since they do not open until noon. Yes, granted that I would always choose to support smaller businesses, Babyrama still has some room for improvement.

To sum up my review… worst customer service experience in a long time. I was extremely excited to check out this baby store since I live in the area and usually travel to Dear Born Baby out in Thornhill for all my baby items. They have always gone above and beyond to accommodate me and I actually heard about them via word of mouth so I know they are consistent with their excellent service. This particular occasion, I needed a few baby shower gifts and was driving by and noticed this store for the first time, couldn’t have been more convenient. Or so I thought… I entered the store with my 10 month old on my hip and noticed a couple employees at the cash who looked my way and quickly acted like they didn’t see me and proceed to talk amongst themselves in french. I thought it was rude but I was already there and wasn’t gonna let them ruin it for me. I was sure they would have nicer people working there, somewhere. So I proceeded to look around and had questions but not a single person seemed approachable or approached me. I was the only one in the store so they were far from busy. After about 15 minutes of not even the slightest bit of acknowledgement, I came to the conclusion that they didn’t value me as a customer and don’t want my money and I was more than happy with that. I’d rather drive farther for exceptional service than go around the corner and be treated like dirt. If they keep this up, their store will remain empty!

I have not been to the physical location but ordered online. Therefore, my review is for the online shopping experience. The website is very basic and dated but it is easy to find what you are looking for. For us, it was a hard-to-find metal standalone barrier/superyard. Checkout was simple and easy and the product arrived within days. Sears had a similar unit for $ 10 cheaper but I already knew it would likely be next year before I receive anything from them so I decided to give these folks a chance and I am glad I did. Also, shippong was free!
