Cineplex Odeon

I came here to see a movie after a dinner out and some shopping. This particular Cineplex is located at Highway 2 and Salem on the east side of Salem, north of Highway 2 in the Home Depot/​Canadian Tire plaza.
This has never been one of my favourite theaters, probably because its poorly laid out and that can cause some issues. When we came in, there was a HUGE lineup of people waiting and since I was using a gift certificate, we had to wait too instead of going to the faster self service kiosks. A note, as with any cineplex, any 3D movie requires an additional fee if you’re using a gift certificate. And no, you don’t get scene points on that :(
My main issue with this theater is the concessions area. Not only is it wide open but there’s no discernible lines. It’s hard to tell which cashier is open and available and people are constantly butting in line, making the wait for popcorn rather annoying. On a very busy night, this place is insane so beware.
All of the theaters here are fairly small as far as theaters go. Not super sloped so if you get stuck behind a tall person, you might be SOL. The seats are usual theater seats and they don’t have the cool mobile games at this location.
Overall, this theater is just your basic movie theatre, nothing mcuh worth nothing but it does the job.

Decent theatre, showing its age, although they do try to keep it up. Nice for a quick trip to the movies or for avoiding crowds at the more popular theatres.
