This Sobeys location is pretty good when comparing to other Sobeys’ stores. It’s open 24⁄7 which is nice and they usually have all of the specials in the flyer.
We’ve had our share of disagreements and misunderstandings with the kids in the deli counter over what hard plastic casings should be trimmed before slicing and the rind that should be removed from prosciutto as well as the layering and thickness. But I must say that the response from Sobeys corporate office was reasonable.
We shop early on Sunday mornings (before 8:30) so the lottery isn’t open yet and some of the produce and meat isn’t restocked, but since we only shop there for the sale items, it serves our purposes.
