Munchos,(zero stars) This is, according to the 130 g red package with writing on it and $ 2 inside a circle. «a light and crispy tasting snack». I don’t know where they were purchased as someone who didn’t like them gave me a nearly-full package and he knows I never met a chip I didn’t like. Until now… Before I read the ingredients(I like to try to guess what is in things before doing this) I decided it tasted very corn-y. I make cornmeal cereal as a snack and I love it. However, after a few chips I started to experience a salty, bitter taste in my mouth between bites, and, after bravely trying a few more I could not continue. Finally reading the ingredients, nothing scary here. Potato flakes, then veg oil, then cornmeal, and a few unpronounceable things thrown in for good measure. Couldn’t understand the Best Before date but I don’t think that was the problem. For an hour after until I masked it by eating something else, and even after that, there was that salty bitter aftertaste that took a while to go away. Strongly NOT recommended is my take on this horrible product. Cheetos cheese flavoured snacks ****(4 stars) 75 g, $ 1, possibly bought at Dollarama Chitos are cheesy and crunchy. I like them. Reading ingredient list: nothing too scary except monosodium glutamate, which makes me dizzy and should be banned in Canada. Too much salt, of course.
