Cineplex Odeon Aurora

This theater is my go to theater however last night was hands down my worst theater experience ever. I went to watch the movie The Boy. The theater was at the back which was a way smaller room. Every row had people in it. When I say people, I mean kids. Inconsiderate immature kids. Between one girl hiccuping to my left, the brats in front constantly changing around seats and the boy behind me constantly hit my chair, I was about to walk out and demand a refund. Everyone was so crammed together, I could hear everyone around me eating and their bags of popcorn constantly making noise. I don’t know what management was thinking putting that many people together in one small theater room.
I will stick to watching movies on Tuesdays which I’ve never had such a bad expierence as last night.

This cineplex is great for dates, families, friends & single Movie goers. Staff is friendly, popcorn fresh & the food selection is decent. This theatre feels cozy (it’s not as large as the New market one or other locations) and large enough to feel like I’m having a night out. They struggle a bit to get food out on a timely basis because Cineplex has added more than pizza & hotdogs to their menu. You can get wraps, poutine, fries, chicken fingers, burgers — I might be leaving something out. I’ve had it all at one point in time. Popcorn with real butter (small surcharge) candy & chocolates the key to a good movie night. I like to pig out.
Overall the theatre strives to keep the place clean and provide good customer satisfaction.
