will never make another purchase at staples, period. i bought a $ 700 hp laptop from this aurora location back in september 2011. within a month of just barely using it, i could tell i made a major mistake and blew my money on total garbage. i was charged an additional fee to update the drivers on this laptop. later found out, it could easily be done. they made it sound way complicated in store. i know how to update drivers, the way they worded it made it seem advanced and a hassle for me to do. sold me a $ 100norton anti virus software while failing to mention that it’s only valid for a year.
the laptop itself takes just under 5 minutes to full boot up. even then, applications take their time to load. the cpu is always running high.(i’ve checked the processes) i’ve contacted this store about the problems but they weren’t helpful at all. i contacted hp as well with no useful help. i bought this laptop and left the province a few days later to an area with no staples so i couldn’t even bring it in to a store. i’ve barely used it since i’ve gotten it, its a total hassle and a waste of money. if i had any idea of the problems i would face with this laptop, i would have saved up a bit more and got an apple product.
To this day this laptop is lagging, very slow and not worth using. Its windows 7 and all drivers are updated.
