We just love this sport. Perfect destination place. Food is good atmosphere is the best. Do make a reservation, they are always busy. Bread is fabulous. Very well priced. Great for all ages. Check it out.

This is by far one of my favorite places to eat. It’s about 45 minutes outside of London, so I save it for special occasions. Set on a beautiful property on the lake, there’s indoor and outdoor seating (depending on the season), and both are great. There’s a fireplace indoors, lovely in the winter for getting warmed up and looking at the snowy trees outside.
The menu is short and sweet — and fantastic. They have about 10 items. The chicken and dumplings is my favorite. They cook a lot of the food right in the ceramic dishes they serve it in, including the fresh homemade rolls. The ceramics are made onsite as well, just down the hill — and you can buy them, if you like what you see. There’s a great little store that you wait in when there’s a line, with all kinds of homemade crafts and items sourced from local artists.
Save a bit of time before or after your meal — there’s other places to visit! On the property they have an art store, the ceramics area (you can often take a tour and see how they make it), and some others things as well. Or just sit out by the lake and spend a beautiful afternoon.
It’s kind of in the middle of nowhere, out in the country, so make sure you have good directions before you leave!
