Tonight my husband and I went to cha cha cha. Thank goodness we did not read the reviews here probably would not have gone. Instead we had a great experience. The ambience was warm and very relaxing. Food was tasty and different from traditional same old Italian and served warm. We would definitely go again. Barrie needed something like this. Highly recommend

The location is great, the open concept so you can watch your food being prepared and the menu selection looked so promising. Then came the food. Poorly prepared, cold, soupy sauce and dismal taste. Cross contamination of foods caused great concern. Did not complain, but rather in a pleasant manner brought our concern to the waitress and watched as she told no one… Owners standing feet away from us did nothing. Barrie so needed a great Italian restaurant… This will not be it. Never going back.

We dined at Cha Cha Cha because of a Groupon deal. Disappointing to say the least. Sauces in pasta were soupy and plates were stone cold. Food itself was luke warm at best. Very nice ambiance and good location. We advised our server about the food temperature and quality and our complaints went no further with the owners standing right at the bar. We do not recommend this restaurant. We will not be back.

Full disclaimer — we went to Cha Cha Cha for my father’s birthday, and we chose the location because he is friends with the owner. Not being from Barrie, I had no idea to what to expect. When we arrived, my SO and I were delightfully surprised. Cha Cha Cha is outfitted with Modern décor, with friendly staff and decent wine(which is important). It has an excellent vibe which was perfect for us, being that we wanted to be festive. My family and I, along with a few friends of my fathers enjoyed a wide sampling of dishes from the menu. Fresh salads, Great pasta and steak. There is pizza on the menu as well. Having travelled through Italy and the Mediterranean, I cannot really say that the fare is authentic italian, but they serve approachable eats. This was a standout experience for me, in terms of meals I have eaten in Barrie. Not bad Cha Cha Cha. Apparently they are to be closed for winter, you may want to call ahead.
