Georgian Summer Suites is not a place that I would prefer to stay at unless, I didn’t have a choice in the matter. It was a reasonable price, but then again, you got exactly what you payed for. The beds were creeky, the shower was way too small and the room wasn’t the most pleasant smelling. The students that reside there during the school year must of had a blast, the walls in the hallway looked like they had adorned spit balls at one point in time! I will say that the staff were very helpful and friendly, but I definately missed the comforts of the Holiday Inn Express that night.

I guess it’s one way for the College to make money, by renting out the residences for the summer. Don’t expect the overall to be grand or the rooms! The rooms are clean, not the most up to date, but hey you’re not living there. Ask how to use the phones if you need at the front desk as well as any other question you may need answered as the staff are very friendly and helpful, I believe they are students that work here. The price was reasonable and when you’re in a jam and you need a place to stay, beggers can’t be choosers! They also have a continental breakfast in the morning to put something on your stomach before you leave.

This is not the Ritz BUT what it is, is a fantastic prices, clean, overly friendly dorm-style accommodations. They have ½ kitchenettes(fridge, sink, table & chairs) very comfortable double beds in separate rooms and staff that go above and beyond to make you happy.

I stayed here overnight(Saturday) with my boyfriend and two of my girlfriends. What you think you’re going to get is exactly what you get with this place. It is the college residences at Georgian College. We opted for a two bedroom for $ 70. Inside each unit there is a small bathroom and tiny shower(no amenities, bring your own!), two bedrooms with a desk, TV, bed, closet, and chair. In the kitchen there is a microwave, sink, and fridge/freezer, tiny table and two chairs. That’s it. Bring utensils. The bed wasn’t particularly uncomfortable but it was kind of loud every time you moved. The shower was tiny and the table was too small. They would also benefit from putting a mirror in each room(3 of us getting ready in the bathroom was so cramped). For the price I paid, it was a good value. The staff was nice, the coffee in the morning was nice, and check in and out was painless. I would stay here again. I’m forever on a budget.
