I had to pay 9 $ for a tea and a cold sandwich in a plastic rap. Like most of the Starbuck in this planet, this place is overpriced for what it is. Pros: Nice cosy place with sofas and tables. Large selection of snacks & drinks. Rapid service.

This is a pretty standard Starbucks location — conveniently located along one of Barrie’s main drags, it always meets my expectations for the chain. However, it is far too small, and most times it’s hard to find a seat. It’s also remarkably busy for such a tiny store, and there’s often a four– or five-person line at the drink counter. Pro tip: Drive the extra few kilometres down to Mapleview and visit the Starbucks in the big box plaza with Wal-Mart. It’s huge, empty, and worth the trip.

One of my go-to places for South Barrie coffee. Conveniently located at Essa and Ferndale. Moderate sized seating area with a couple comfy chairs. Prices are in line with Canadian competitor, Second Cup. «It’s Starbucks.»
