Ultramar Corner Store

When I need gas, this is one of my fave places to fuel up!
It’s a great location if you’re travelling between Bedford/​Dartmouth/​Halifax and Sackville/​the Valley/​the airport. Even if you have to make a left-​hand turn to get there, traffic is rarely so bad at the times that I’ve gone that you can’t make the turn.
Staff are generally friendly and amicable. Though they are well-​trained in the upsell («Did you want to add lottery to that? Do you need a car wash?»). For such a small convenience store location, they’re pretty well-​stocked, too.
And, yes, I do want a car wash. Their car wash isn’t some mysterious vortex to a magical land whereupon I ride unicorns and conquer evil but it gets your car clean for not too many doubloons.
