Excellent service, excellent food, incredible coffee. I’m really glad I found this place for breakfast today.

This little gem has great food! Everything is fresh and delicious. They have homemade desserts there every day that look phenomenal. We always order from here when at work. Eating in is good too, quick friendly service. The chicken sandwich is so good and the southwest Turkey is amazing. Really recommend this place for a bite for lunch. They have daily specials too which are always fresh or course. It’s hard to spot but just map it you can get to it off of pinnacle street. Go try it!

I really miss the way Café e used to be! The wait staff is always kind and efficient. They’re really great. However, the menu has changed drastically. The layout of café has lost many of the previous booths and isn’t as welcoming for chatting over coffee.

Had an amazing «Empire Burger Co» burger here last week. The whole thing was delicious and so were the fries! Washed it down with an ice cold Beau’s draft! Can’t wait to go back.

We loved this restaurant! It was recommended to us by a local business owner — who often do make the best recommendations, as they eat in the area all the time for lunch.
Inside is nicely decorated. Great display of goodies in the front display case as you walk in.
Great menu — enough choice to be interesting but not overwhelming.
Service was prompt — but expect to wait for your food. (Perfection takes time! If you are by yourself, bring a book. If you are with someone else, settle in for a nice chat. In this day of rush rush rush, we aren’t used to waiting for anything — so make sure you go in with the right attitude. You’ll enjoy it.
I had a spinich salad with maple syrup based dressing. Wow! Had ½ sandwich, of which the type escapes my feeble memory — it was great too. Hubby had a chicken with Aeoli dressing. I managed to wrangle a bite and again «wow!». Everyone enjoyed what they got. I should have done this review a week ago, when our order was fresh in my mind, so you will have to do with the vague rememberance above. Everything was fresh, wholseome, tastily combined and delicious.
Just relocating from the states, where food is generally much less expensive, I found it a bit spendy but it may just be that I have to re-​adjust my expectations. It was about $ 70 for 5 people, including drinks/​coffee, 3 desserts and tip/​tax — really not that bad at $ 14/​person.
Would I recommend: Yes

We (a party of 5) came for lunch on a July Saturday afternoon.
Although the server came promptly to take our orders, and our drinks arrived shortly after, things went downhill from there.
Even though it was early afternoon, and the restaurant was far from crowded, our sandwich and salad orders took almost an hour to arrive. We were eventually told the restaurant had only one staff member working in the kitchen.
The food, once it arrived, was fine. I enjoyed my Reuben sandwich (although a bit small, even though I’d ordered the full-​size version.)
My advice: before you order, get an estimate for your meal’s time-​of-​arrival. And if your experience is like ours, you may want to bring along your own snack to nibble on while you wait.

Well-​priced for lunch and breakfast, with good coffee. Great grilled sandwiches and salads. Get something to go, and sit in the park by the river one day this summer! There are also a few tables outside in good weather (pity they look onto a parking lot, but still).
