Indifferent, indecent, lack of trained staff, and least customer oriented would define my experience to this place last month. The seating is terrible with a raised platform blocking the view to the kitchen and makes it kind of den or something. We used to go to another restaurant here, I forgot the name. That closed down and stayed up for sale a long time. They were friendly, efficient, and decent people. The current owners are terrible. If you go inside, taste one bite of food and spit it out because the food smelt bad, tasted like a rotten carcass, and you decide to go out, they still want $ 11.99 per person from you shamelessly. I wouldn’t have paid a dollar for the same had I tasted the food before. The dishes look sleazy, stale, and use some recooked and recooked vegetable oil. They don’t give you a shit. All they want to do is penalize you for entering the ‘Den’. If you go for buffet there tell them you want to taste the food before ordering and won’t pay if it is not to the mark. I feel highly sorry to write this review but my profession is not to give wrong feedback to anyone or misdirected public. I felt hurt when, despite telling the owner that their food sucked and that we didn’t eat anything, he shamelessly asked to pay $ 54 plus. Don’t go if you love your taste buds because even after brushing for a week the stale taste won’t leave you. Sorry owners, I couldn’t be nicer. See I didn’t use F words here. Had to give it one star as I was unable to post it without choosing one. For those who rated it good, please try another restaurant to compare.

A friend recommended this restaurant to me, as my SO was looking for somewhere that had good Chicken Vindaloo. Even though this restaurant has a buffet, you can also order take out — which is what I did. I wound up ordering the Chicken Vindaloo which was apparently wonderful, the small bit I tried(I’m not into spicy food!) was very flavourful and wasn’t as spicy as I was anticipating. To accompany the meal I got some Channa(also extremely flavourful with a bit of heat to it) and some Naan which was nice and fresh. My SO was so impressed by this place that I came back the next day and got the same meal but instead of vindaloo we got Butter Chicken and it was AWESOME. The amount of chicken you get is great, and it’s quality meat — no bones, gristle or questionable bits, just nice meaty chunks of white chicken. Yum yum. Prices are decent but a TAD on the higher side — for the meat dishes you definitely get your money worth(the 2 I tried were $ 9.99 ea). Both times I’ve gone it has been pretty empty, but I think that has more to do with the sub-zero temperatures. It’s a nice venue with plenty of seating. Maybe one day I’ll go in for the buffet. :)

An excellent restaurant for its food quality and taste. I was completely impressed by the lunch buffet and how vast the selection and tasty the dishes. In spite of sour yogurt which may either have been as a result of a Punjabi recipe or poor food handling. Despite a few mishaps, the dahi bhallas and chaat papri options were so exciting, as were the dual dessert options. I definitely expect to return. Service was good.
