Pretty pricey, everyone was nice but they didn’t fully aware me with everything that I was paying for. I ended up paying way more than what I was supposedly told. My nails have a lot of texture on them you can tell they didn’t take their time… My search for good nail places still ongoing!

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I don’t even know where to begin writing this review.
1. I went here because of the good reviews on Unilocal and when I got there, I saw a board outside their door that said «$ 5 off full set nails on Tuesdays». Today is a Tuesday, so I thought awesome, but when I went to go pay, they did not honour the ad and made me pay full price.
2. I asked for biogel nails. I had the older lady working on me and when she was dipping her brush in the gel container, I noticed the container said «UV gel» on it, so I said to her that I had asked for bio gel and she was using UV gel. She started getting defensive and said that they take the bio gel from a bigger container and add it to smaller empty containers to re-​use them. I don’t appreciate being lied to and found her to be very insulting. She charged me for bio gel nails, which was $ 10 more expensive than the UV gel that she actually used. RIP OFF.
3. When she was using the drill thing to shave my nails, she started shaving my cuticle and I pulled away in pain. Instead of apologizing she told me to relax. I told her she was hurting me. She tried to convince me that I was not feeling pain and that in fact I was feeling fear. Um, okay…
4. When she was filing and shaping my nails, she ended up filing my cuticle on a different finger than the one she shaved and made me bleed. Again, instead of apologizing she snapped at me and told me to relax and said «see, look what happens when you don’t relax.» …yeah, buddy, totally my fault cuz you’re the one holding the file. I told her that in all the times I had gotten my nails done, no one had ever made me bleed. She continued to file my nail and put her thumb over the cut, making it sting even more. Oh and her thumb was covered in gel dust. GROSS. I had asked for shelac, but at this point I wanted to get out of that place so badly that I just told her to put on a clear coat of polish and I went down the parking lot to Nice One Nails to have them finish the job.
5. At no point during my visit was I asked to wash my hands. Not before she got started and not after she finished. Again, GROSS.
6. She used old tools that looked like they had been put through the wringer and since they didn’t ask me to wash my hands, I can only imagine how hygienic the tools were. I cringe.
7. She filed one of my nails crooked and when I pointed it out to her, she tried convincing me that it was straight from her end of the table and it was just the angle I was looking at it from. When I went to nice one nails, I didn’t even mention anything to the tech and she told me that my nail was crooked and there was nothing she could do to fix it… I’d have to wait for it to grow out.
8. The other girl that was working there had her son sitting in one of the client chairs right beside me watching a disney movie on an ipad. That’s fine. What’s not fine was when she served him lunch in a container while my lady was shaping my nails. I can only imagine the amount of gel dust that poor boy ingested.
I will never go back here again. Save your money or spend it at Nice One Nails. They are much more professional and actually know what good customer service is.

I booked an appointment on a Sunday so my gf and I could get our nails done at the same time for a girls day.
We got there and they were very friendly and welcomed us in. They already knew we were the 1:30 appointment lol. We got seated right away and they let us pick our colour. We came for a regular manicure, which cost $ 15. Before they started with any nail polishes they suggest we pay first so our nails didn’t get smudged.
All staff were very friendly and kept making conversation with us. I usually dislike getting manicures because I usually paint my own nails better. However, these ladies did an excellent job. They put some cuticle oil once your nails are dry right before you leave. Nice place! Glad I found it on Unilocal

First time here today. I woke up searching to get my nails filled while waiting around in the area for my son. They take their time to perfection. Amazing girls. I will be going back. This is the best job I’ve seen yet.

We’re out here in Canada visiting from San Francisco. It was my first time getting a pedicure & I felt so welcomed & comfortable. I never heard of mood changing polish & Mama recommend it to me when I wasn’t sure if I wanted black or red nails. So, now I have both depending on my mood. Everyone was kind
I would definitely go back! I’m in love with my claw nails.

I love these ladies! The service is impeccable and that are honesty the most amazing people. I walked in unsatisfied with my nails from a previous salon and once I told her what I wanted she gave me exactly what I asked for without pushing what she thought was nice down my throat. They make you feel so comfortable and they make you enjoy the time you had there. Definitely a place I would gladly go to over and over and over again a million times! I got two nails with bio gel (cause they were broken) and then shellac removed and redone all for 30 $, to me nots not expensive at all, and even if you think it is, the service is so worth it. Another thing I absolutely loved was having the hair stylist keep me company while I was getting pampered. They truly gave me an all around great experience! Absolutely pleased!

Excellent Service, friendly staff, clean environment and easy to find. Will definitely go back, again and again.
