This nursery is great. It’s not huge (not Terra huge, anyway), but it does have a great selection and the plants are organized comprehensively. For instance, their perennial section is organized by sun-​loving or shade-​loving, by height, by drought tolerant or water-​loving, and what part of the season the flowers are expected to bloom.
Their plants are always healthy and you can tell they are well-​tended. You’ll never find a dried out plant or a plant with brown or shriveled foliage here. Anytime I’ve purchased a plant from Van Wissen, it’s always thrived in my garden.
The prices are pretty competitive with most other nurseries or garden centres around.
