I’ve eaten here once, and never again. The food was dry, cold, and the pizza was burnt and rock hard. The pop was flat, and the serving sizes were tiny for the price paid.

Ok but nothing spectacular. Food takes a while to get to your table whether there are 50 tables or 2. Average food.

A nice little restaurant a friend and I stumbled upon a few weeks back. Looks to be a very formal restaurant but its just a nice setting is all. We both had a great meal there and still quite affordable. Great atmosphere to being family or just a friend to have a lunch date with. Would definitely go back if in the area again.

Rough night for the restaurant. Out of 90% of the dinner menu by 7:30, apparently the chef walked out and it took well over 90 minutes to get our foo which was either way over cooked or undercooked. Staff was under the gun all night, tried their best but couldn’t salvage the disaster. I’d be surprised if this place is even open a year from now.

I like this restaurant; I just wish I liked it more. Let me explain: I’ve eaten here seven or eight times, and each time, I walk away with at least one issue — not always with the food, but ALWAYS with the service. I can understand that a relatively new restaurant can have issues in the kitchen working out kinks, and I’m open to that, but the inconsistency in the quality/value in the food has become more of a constant than what can be considered an exception. Of course, this can sometimes be excused with seasonal issues with product and the like. I believe the chef has potential, but it’s not fully realized if the consistency in each dish is not present every time it is served. But it’s the lack of polish or exactitude in the service that I have issue with most. The lack of experience(or lack of attention) in the service staff becomes hard to excuse when it is the constant. When you are spending relatively high prices for a dining experience, you just don’t expect the level of service you usually get at a local roadside diner. I’d love to see The Forks succeed. It is what Paris needs, and fills a gap in the dining options. I’d just hate to see it fail on the basis of its front-end staff. I can only recommend they find a quality dining service consultant who will train the people who serve the food, and perhaps help the kitchen staff develop a model of consistency. Doing it yourself is commendable, but sometimes you have to look outward to explore filing those gaps you may not see yourself.

Last Sunday of of the summer. We decided to finally try the Forks in Paris. While the interior is very tastefully done — we chose to eat on the vine covered patio and enjoy the lovely summer breeze. The lunch menu features fresh, mostly local produce, prepared with a twist. Handmade fish cakes with yuzu chili aioli and cilantro, chicken wing«lollipops» interesting variations of pizza, pasta, sandwiches and salad. The prices were in keeping with the quality of the food. Lunch for two with wine and desert(a wonderful crème brûlée) was $ 55.00. We had a tour of one of their rooms and of the 1902 bar in the basement. Very nicely done — we will definitely be back for a weekend getaway.

I thought this restaurant would be something really new and exciting for Paris. Unfortunately, I found the fare unappetizing and overpriced. I did think that the servers did an excellent job.
