Tried to have dinner, sat down waited 15 minutes just to be noticed only to be then asked to move as the seats we were in were reserved… no sign on table even saying such… wouldn’t take a shit in the dive let alone ever go back.

The food and service is great. The best clubhouse sandwich I have ever had. And the prices are very affordable. You will not be disappointed.

So, we had a Friday evening and a desire to go out to eat without the kiddies. Adults night out.
Issue is, my wife is terribly allergic to gluten. Not just the GI issues common with Celiac, but also neurological issues, secondary to her exposure. So, it was with great excitement that we found a local menu with gluten «reduced» options. We set out with great anticipation!
In all fairness, they do not claim to be gluten free. Which we appreciate, since very few places we have found are truly gluten free. Our server was very knowledgable about the options and advised us what to try and what not to try.
Looking at the menu, there were some glaring contradictions. Gluten reduced meal with flour based gravy? Hmmmm.
She opted for the pulled pork with gluten free bun and a salad. All reported to be «safe» for her consumption.
Later that night, all of the exposure symptoms set in. The upset belly, weakness, headache, tingling in limbs. The full deal.
We are not losing our minds in anger as they seem to be conscious and attempt to do right by people with gluten issues. But given the choices we made and results from that, I would be leery to believe this was gluten reduced at all. The symptoms would lead us to believe full exposure. Whether the pulled pork had wheat in it, can’t be sure.
Just a word to the wise. Try again.

I really enjoyed the steak. Nice little spot to stop in for a quick bite to eat
The coleslaw was just the right about of tartness to it.
The staff was friendly and polite with quick service.

Worse place to dine at. Enough said. Pub food should have mozza sticks. Well this pub doesn’t carry it. All the starters are repeats and over priced. Not worth the time or money.

I was not impressed with my dinner experience here. Their menu had no vegetarian entrees and when I ordered the cheese dip it came out covered in real bacon bits (which it did not indicate on the menu).
The service was also lack luster, which I found surprising as we were one of only 2 or 3 tables. At one point we had to wave down the server to ask for more drinks, as she had been by our table, where our empty glasses were sitting, countless times and had not stopped.
I very much doubt that I will ever eat here again.
