The only reason I go back here is because of how close it is to my home.
The staff that’s out on the floor are not helpful (that’s if you can even find a stock boy), they are constantly out of popular food items, and the bathrooms are putrid.
The worst though has to be all the expired and/or rotting meats and produce that are left out on the shelves. It is so so so important to check the expiry date on anything you buy from there because the manager just let’s food go bad on the shelves and do nothing about it.
The one redeeming quality about this Food Basics are their cashiers. They have always been very helpful and nice to deal with. They take the time to chit chat with customers without compromising the speed at which they put your order through.
