My husband, daughter and I stopped in for dinner on Feb 21. We ordered and waited. Two of the three meals arrived at the same time. The third came about half way thru. When my meal did arrive the burger bun was partially soggy — waitress said they had to wait for the fries… After we finished our meal our plates were removed and we waited… My daughter ordered her dessert and 15 minutes later the waitress came back and asked if the dessert had arrived… it hadn’t. Eventually the cheesecake was brought out on a hot plate — I can only assume they ran out of plates and had to wait for the dishwasher to finish. Nor were we asked if we would like our drinks topped up. Service zero, food not much better. With all the competition in Burlington you would think a newer restaurant would work a bit harder at bringing repeat business in. Won’t recommend and won’t go back.

This is a new place in town and we decided to try it for lunch. Service was excellent! Large number of tables and booths. Wide range of lunch and dinner selections including vegan. Price is a bit higher for all items. They only serve Pepsi products. My wife and I both had the Landings burger. It was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend it. I found out that the Hamburg is fresh ground inhouse never frozen.

My companion and I visited the restaurant during a Thursday lunch time. The restaurant was quite busy with lunch patrons. Seated promptly in the lounge our drink order was taken immediately and the specials provided. My companion ordered the calamari which he found a little rubbery. He then had a turkey burger/fries and I had the Landing burger/Caesar salad with a glass of Merlot. Burgers/fries/salad all excellent, although messy to eat. Wait for the food was a little long given the time of day and most looking to eat and run. The Landing burger and it’s hand formed patty patty was one of the best I have had. Finally we shared a sticky toffee bread pudding which was ok but short on the ice cream to offset the chilli seasoning. Not my personal favourite. Please add something chocolate to the dessert menu and a «little something» dessert for those of us looking for a little something sweet to finish off a meal. Overall we found the menu for lunch a little limited, prices a little $$, and service a little slow while food quality seemed great in the burger dept. Server was awesome and attentive!

We stopped in for late lunch on the Monday after Boxing Day. There were lots of highly groomed young women dressed in short dark dresses and heels milling around the front desk. The décor is quite fashionable and the music was just a titch too loud for 1:30 p.m. on a weekday. We were seated in a booth, but there’s a large open bar in the centre of the room, surrounded by bar-stool seating. My overall impression — between the low lighting, the décor and the constant stream of young women in short dresses — is that someone is trying very hard to create a hip, upscale atmosphere. It was Monday, but they were still offering the weekend brunch menu — a bit limited, but that was okay. I ordered the tempeh sandwich with the Landing side salad. The sandwich was tasty — but be forewarned that it contains lots of avocado that keep slipping out of the bread. Speaking of the bread, it was good — I’m not a fan of wimpy breads, and this bread had some«tooth» to it. And I’m no chef, but I found myself wishing that the sandwich had a slice of tomato on it. The salad was delicious, albeit a bit small — the dressing is nice and light and not-at-all oily. One lunch companion had fries with her sandwich and I stole a few — they contained the potato skins and were pretty good. Another dining companion ordered the«Lakeshore» Eggs Benedict, and said that that it was good, but she thought the portions were on the small side(and, in general, she is not a big eater). The service was adequate: not terrible but not great. The washrooms are clean, but I laughed when the cold water tap handle came off in my hand. Overall, our lunch here was okay. I don’t think I’d go out of my way to dine here again, but I wouldn’t eschew the place, either.
