I was looking for a 7 – 11 Speakout flip-phone for my mom who doesn’t want to learn how to use a smartphone. They had an Alcatel flip-phone, which looked like the one online The box was already opened and mangled so there’s no telling whether it was used or not. Cost was $ 80. This seemed suspiciously high so I asked her if it came ready to use with money in the Speakout Account. She directed me to the $ 100 offer where you get a free phone. The pictures looked like you get a smartphone, which was not what I needed. I told her again that my mom didn’t want a smartphone. She told me the Alcatel flip-phone was also a smartphone. Really?

This one is actually not too far from the gym that I go to. I come here to get a bus pass, some pizza and fries and other post work out munchies. Good customer service.

Oh thank heaven for 7/eleven! Smokes are cheap, this one has a banking machine in it too, and their open 24⁄7 every day of the year. One Christmas when I was trying to quit smoking I had been three weeks without even a drag off a cigarette. Christmas came so I bought a pack and smoked half. I bought Soap(Dove for the body), cigarettes, and visited the banking machine too. I bought coffee grounds there at 4 am before on a payday Wednesday too.

In here a fair amount during the day for the post office, and the service there(staffed by 7-Eleven staffers) is usually pretty quick and efficient — just avoid it around school hour recess, lunch, after school, as it gets insane with the high school across the street. There’s also an ATM here, small parking lot, and a decent offering of hot and cold food and supplies, although I’d only use them late night when the Buy Low across the street is closed. For a 7-Eleven, this is one of the best ones I’ve come across.
